Man there’s been some rubbish compost on sale this year. Big brands as well. I wonder whether it was the cold, wet weather that dominated earlier in the year, stopping the raw components rotting down properly. We got a big delivery of ‘vegetable compost’ from a local specialist supplier back in May and even that was dreadful – a combination of sand, dust and bits of wood. Will have to get a compost bin going.
