It’s late October and the weather’s stormy, so it’s a good job I picked a load of herbs yesterday from the herb corner, with the intention of drying them for storage. A long stint in a the oven, fan only – no temperature, did the trick. Then into some recycled spice jars and out with the labelling machine.

This is sage, rosemary and thyme. A bit of parsley at the start of that phrase and we could’ve gone to Scarborough Fair!
