It’s a pleasure but a surprise to still be lifting these Maestro F1 carrots.

They were planted back in March and April and have been ripe for picking since August.  But the fact that they have some carrot fly resistance, along with the fact that we netted the bed they’ve been in, seems to have kept them pest free.  Washed up, as above, they’re a radiant orange.  And taste good too.
