A bit of a variation on the post below, this is slices of halloumi cheese, on a base of broad beans and that courgette tempura again (well it was nice). That’s grilled bacon on top. Shortly after this, we lifted some turnips and made (and froze) some potato and turnip fritters, with a view to making this dish again but with the fritters rather than the haloumi. A drizzling of good olive oil round the edge might be an idea. Along with a drizzling of Sauvignon Blanc down the hatch.
