Pickled radishes … only so-soThis was earlier in the year, but faced with a glut of French Breakfast radish I had a go at pickling them. Properly, chopped up into official pickling vinegar, added in some black peppercorns and all that. To be honest after they’d had a chance to settle they weren’t all that marvellous. OK to use in stir frys but only OK. I think possibly raw or else freshly cooked are better.
