
I built another raised bed this weekend; posts set into the ground with concrete, decking boards screwed to the posts and then everything painted with wood preservative.
Above, it’s the one on the right with no soil in it yet. Smaller than the big ones in the distance, it’s still big enough to hold a good number of plants. In a couple of weeks I’ll be sowing some bean seeds in it: either Flageolet, Coco Nain Blanc or Spagna Bianco. The latter two are new (to me) varieties which I hope will produce lots of tasty pulses.
